Couples Awards
These are most inspiring people in my life at the moment- they just happen to be couples! Not only are these my brothers and sisters, they are the next leaders of tomorrow. Each couple in their own way have shown me what it means to love unconditionally and full heartedly. I appreciate them, individually, for their amazing talents (seriously, they’re all FREAKING talented, amazing people!).
Renee and Prince- “The Deans List/ Black (Em)Powering” Couple (This couple keep each other in check! Really! Both are on Deans List and the National Honors society at their college. Renee is such a magnificent force to be reckon with and Prince is a powerful man with a calm spirit, making this one powerfully influential couple since 2009)
Phyleka and Raphael- “The Green Peace/Love and Soul” Couple (This couple care as much as about the world as they do each other! The multitalented, southern belle Phyl and the hawaiian hottie with a love for the environment make a beautiful humanitarian couple- saving the world together since 2011)
Kadia and Jessica- “The Inspirational/Motivational, Equality, Justice and Nothing Less” Couple (This couple can capture any room with their beauty and superb personalities. The personification of respect, love, and leadership Kadia has met it’s match with the strong willed, multitalented and loving Jessica. Not only are they pushing boundaries and fighting against injustice, they are teachers (they seriously were) who have been encouraging change and leading by example since 2010)
I love you for this! Everyday, I’ll use this as my inspiration, it seriously puts things in perspective for me. I truly appreciate the genuine love and respect that you have for each of us individually and all of us collectively. To be put in this group with such awesomeness by a Beautiful Black Queen (i.e. you) reminds me of my purpose in life and commitment to make a difference in this world.
