Deepest Condolences for all of the people killed and suffering in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi from the tornadoes and thunderstorms.

My heart goes out for my home region.

I shed tears for the travesties of travelers and inhabitants,

For family remnants in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and hometown Tennessee,

Somebody pray with me.

“And there’s so much rain,” said he

Who reports,

That decisions of breaking levees to save lives is headed to court,

Things like these and all other sorts of political regimes

Make me wonder if priorities of life are as great as they should seem,

Or they should be, but look at me unaffected except emotionally,

But yet I see that reactions change when things are a little closer to home than normally

For me…

I feel the storms ripping away my heritage, threatening to flood

The grounds where my food was produced,

My ancestors abused,

My people confused and governmental prosperity never refused.

I’m ranting now, because I can’t fathom what I’m hearing on the news,

I guess I thought that we’d never be affected

By this human-contributed, nature-related blues…

[[ On the note of Natural Disasters, these same condolences go out to the people of Japan who are still suffering after the hurricanes and tsunami]]
